By playing ChartQuest you agree to these simple rules. If you do not agree, please do not use the game.

ChartQuest is in beta

Right now ChartQuest is an early beta. Only the first world and the first Guardian are built. Things may change, break, or be reset while we work on it, and saved progress is not guaranteed to survive an update. If you send us feedback or fill in the beta survey, we may use what you tell us to improve the game.

Using the game

• Play fairly. Do not try to break, cheat, hack, or overload the game or its servers.
• Do not copy, resell, or pretend the game or its artwork and code are your own.
• Do not use the game to harm others or to do anything against the law.

Your account

• Keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens on your account.
• Tell us if you think someone else is using your account.

No real money

"Shells", trades, levels, and rewards inside the game have no real-world cash value and cannot be bought, sold, or exchanged for money.

The game is provided "as is"

We work hard to make ChartQuest fun and reliable, but we cannot promise it will always work perfectly or never go down. To the extent allowed by law, we are not responsible for any loss that comes from using (or not being able to use) the game.

Who owns the game

ChartQuest, including its code, artwork, characters, and text, belongs to its creators and is protected by copyright. You may play it, but you may not copy or reuse it without permission.

Ending use

You can stop using the game at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these rules.

Changes

We may update these terms. If we do, we will change the date at the top of this page.
